Description
This course is designed to equip academics across all disciplines with a range of tools needed to implement Open Science practices into every step of their research project lifecycle.
In this interactive, hands-on course, participants learn about Open Science through interactive lectures, discussions with guest speakers, and practical assignments. Participants gain first-hand experience with implementing Open Science practices into experimental planning & design, data collection & analysis, sharing & disseminating research output, long-term data accessibility & re-use, and project & researcher evaluation.

Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
1. Explain what Open Science is. Discuss the benefits and challenges that come with its implementation, specifically in the Swedish context
2. Describe the most common Open Science practices throughout every step of the research project lifecycle
3. Implement Open Science practices into their own workflow

Prerequisites & Technical Requirements
Prior Knowledge
To follow this course, learners should have basic knowledge of:
1. Principles of scientific research and methodology
2. How research outputs are typically disseminated, (e.g., journals, conferences etc.)
3. The structure of the Swedish research system, including universities and funding bodies
